The purpose of a hotwell level controller is to control the water level of hotwell to be constant to prevent cavitation of feedwater extraction pump.

Application: A closed loop feedback control system of precise level monitoring and control valve positioning regulates the hotwell level within a very small bandwidth typically +/- 20mm.
